- There may be a few titles you could raise a stink over (thus the
- refusal of most FTP sites to allow certain titles at their site). In
- such an instance I suppose Darren should just remove a few new games
- produced by small timers who still code for the 64. Otherwise, I
- think you will have a *hell* of a time getting big names such as
- Activision, Epyx, and EA to rally behind your righteous cause. Since
- they are the ones who own the copyright to most of the software in
- question, I doubt you will have much say in the matter. Also, I
- suspect they would not join your cause because the costs would be so
- much greater than the benefits. I would hope that CMD (please tell me
- you aren't the head honcho!) would realize the same thing. Why incur
- a ton of legal expenses so that you can sell ten copies (and I do
- doubt that you would sell many more than that, if you have to pay for
- a game you are going to buy a real one) of a game instead of five?
-
- PS: I have the CD, should I expect you to come crashing through my
- door with the police also?
